Welcome to Villa Belvedere
Villa Belvedere, as the name implies, has breathtaking views over the Florentine Chianti hills. Originally an old barn, the house has been restored and renovated and has all the comforts necessary for an enjoyable vacation surrounded by nature.
The villa is just outside the medieval hamlet of Ruffoli whose little church of Santa Lucia a Barbiano can be visited. It is 4km from the town of Greve in Chianti and 7km from Panzano, in an area dominated by vines, olive and cypress trees, famous for the production of wine and oil.
The trees and mediterranean ‘macchia’ (the typical vegetation of the area) surrounding the 1000mq terraced garden guarantee the privacy of the villa and its outdoor spaces.
The living room, part of the kitchen and one of the first floor bedrooms overlook the 7 x 9 m pool.
The outdoor space has chairs and loungers for sunbathing and, during the hotter hours of the day, you can relax under the gazebo and the portico, all perfect for fully enjoying the outdoor life.
For food lovers the villa has two barbecues and a traditional stone and brick grill. There is an outdoor dining area and the kitchen is fully equipped for every need.
The villa can accommodate up to 10 people in its 175 m2, spread over three floors. The ground floor is a separate annexe with an independent entrance containing a large double bedroom with a double sofa bed, bathroom with shower, a laundry room and a storage cupboard.
n the first floor there are two comfortable double bedrooms and a large bathroom with a tub and a shower. The second floor attic has two single beds (usually reserved for little ones), a bathroom with shower and a terrace with splendid views.
The first floor also has a spacious living area with a smart TV and a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and everything needed to prepare meals.
