Experiences

Villa Belvedere is not far from the centre of Greve in Chianti, the central town of Florentine Chianti. As well as being the home of the annual Chianti Expo wine fair, Greve offers an interesting range of wine and food events throughout the year, (some sponsored by Slow Food).
During the summer months, aside from the typical markets and the seasonal fairs, Greve hosts lyric opera and belcanto masterclasses, and in the main square and on the terrace of the church of San Francesco there are concerts, theatre evenings, sporting events and more!

Apart from the events in Greve and neighbouring villages, Chianti is a territory that has much to offer vistors. For the sporty there are activities such as trekking, nordic walking, outdoor yoga, mountain biking, golf, horse-riding, tennis to name but some.

There are also many activities for those who love food, art or culture in general. It is possible to visit museums in the evenings, take cookery classes, taste typical products and during the summer months attend musical events and fairs.
